DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Silverton Powdercats Snowcat Tours is easy to find. We are located on highway 550 at the 65 mile marker where you will see a blue highway sign saying Silverton Powdercats. Additionally there is a green sign that reads Molas lake trail, turn at the sign and come on in.

Our location is six miles south of Silverton, heading towards Durango. If coming from Durango or Purgatory Mountain Resort you will go one mile past the top of Molas pass and you’re there. There is also a blue highway sign for Silverton Powdercats just before the entrance from this direction as well.

If coming from Telluride take the highway to Ridgeway, then head towards Ouray and over Red Mountain Pass to Silverton. Do not turn into Silverton, keep heading towards Durango. If you’re running late or having issues, call us at 970-422-2223. It would be best to call as soon as possible as cell service is limited near the operation.

Park at the “Molas Lake, Molas Trail” sign one mile north from the top of Molas Pass.

Transportation:

Many of our guests inquire about transportation from the Telluride area. You cheapest option would be to arrange for a rental car from the Telluride Airport (very limited availability) or Montrose. Otherwise hiring a shuttle service or Uber is your next best bet.
